Adolescents and teenagers can seem to get into trouble instantly, but there are usually warning signs. PROBLEM CHILD software gives parents and teachers a quick, visual and numerical method to pinpoint warning signs in ten key areas:

  1. Drugs and Alcohol
  2. Suicide
  3. Self Image
  4. Eating Disorders
  5. Anxiety
  6. Depression
  7. Violence
  8. Learning Disorders
  9. Conduct Problems
  10. Health Problems

PROBLEM CHILD places eighteen common warning signs for each of these ten problem areas all in one place. Upon answering key questions for each area, the user receives an immediate visual warning index. A master screen allows the user to see danger levels for all ten areas at once. PROBLEM CHILD shows possible tendencies, however users are cautioned to seek qualified professional help for their children's potential or actual difficulties if they believe the program's output indicates the possibility of a threat to their children's well-being.

Below is an image of the PROBLEM CHILD main menu screen, showing the ten danger areas the program covers:

And here is an example of one of the ten individual screens, in this case the diagnostic screen involving eating disorders.

PROBLEM CHILD is easy for anyone to use. Requires Windows (works with Windows 3.x or Windows 95) . $19.95 in single copy version.

Reduced rate site licenses for schools and institutions are available, and custom versions of PROBLEM CHILD can be produced. For further information about school versions of PROBLEM CHILD, please contact Elliot Essman, the developer.
